Old Dominick Bonded Tennessee Whiskey is the first whiskey distilled, aged and bottled in Memphis since Prohibition, made the strict 1897 Bottled-in-Bond way: one distillery, one season, at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottled at exactly 100 proof. The distillery reports it was named Best Tennessee Whiskey at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
A mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley is mellowed through sugar maple charcoal for classic Tennessee smoothness, then the rye brings the spice back. Vanilla, anise, tobacco, caramel and crème brûlée lead into soft oak and a silky, clean, medium-length finish. Easy enough to pour every day, serious enough for the top shelf. 750 ML.
