Released in 2021 as the first Padre Azul Limited Artist Edition, this bottle carries original artwork by Mexican artist José Parra of Guadalajara: a Calavera Catrina rendered in candlelight in tribute to Día de los Muertos. The design wraps the bottle in a printed leather jacket and is finished with a silver skull-shaped stopper, turning the packaging itself into a piece of collectible art tied to the celebration it honors.

Inside is Padre Azul Añejo, distilled from 100% blue Weber agave at NOM 1466, Tequila Tres Mujeres, in Amatitán, Jalisco, and aged 18 months in hand-selected ex-bourbon oak. The extended rest gives it an amber color and a profile built on vanilla and cooked agave layered with bourbon oak on the nose, moving into vanilla, chocolate, and caramelized nuts with cinnamon on the palate, and finishing rich and sweet with a lingering dry oak note.
