Padre Azul Tequila Blanco

Padre Azul Tequila Blanco comes from NOM 1466, Tequila Tres Mujeres in Amatitán, Jalisco, in the lowland Los Valles region, where master distiller Erika Sangeado oversees production. The brand is owned by the Austria-based Tradition Mexico GmbH, founded in 2014, and built its identity around a hand-blown bottle dressed in a white leather jacket and finished with a hand-cast skull-shaped stopper.

Production starts with 100% blue Weber agave aged 8 to 10 years in the field, cooked in brick ovens for roughly 48 hours before natural, airborne-yeast fermentation and double distillation through stainless steel pot stills. Left unaged and rested for just two to four weeks in stainless steel, the spirit pours crystal clear and opens with delicate vanilla, white flowers, and fresh citrus on the nose. The palate carries that same sweet vanilla and citrus character alongside white floral notes and a gentle kick of black pepper, finishing sweet, remarkably smooth, and with a clean, lingering warmth.
