Rhum Barbancourt Light Rum Liberté Libeté Limited Edition is a fresh, vibrant expression of Haiti's rum-making tradition. Crafted by the renowned Barbancourt distillery, this white rum is distilled from pure sugarcane juice, not molasses, making it a truly authentic and refined rum. Aged for less than a year in stainless steel tanks, this young rum develops an aromatic richness that immediately captivates the senses. The Liberté Libeté Limited Edition celebrates the distillery’s heritage and commitment to quality, offering a spirit that is both intensely aromatic and remarkably smooth. With a crisp, fruity profile and sharp finish, this rum showcases the bright, bold flavors of Haitian sugarcane and fine craftsmanship.

Tasting Notes

Nose: The aroma is intensely aromatic, offering a burst of fresh tropical fruit, including ripe banana, mango, and papaya. Subtle hints of nougat, spice, and a touch of herbal sweetness further enhance the complexity, giving it a vibrant, fresh character.

Palate: On the palate, the fruity aromas take center stage, with the flavors of banana and mango leading the way. These are complemented by a creamy sweetness akin to nougat, balanced by a delicate spiciness and subtle herbal undertones. The mouthfeel is smooth and light, making it incredibly easy to drink.

Finish: The finish is sharp and clean, revealing the rum’s youthful edge with a crisp, refreshing acidity that lingers just long enough to showcase its well-distilled character. The smooth, slightly spicy finish leaves a lasting impression of freshness.
