Tasting Notes

Color: Deep, rich garnet with a brilliant hue.

Nose: The bouquet opens with captivating aromas of dark fruits such as blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum, intertwined with red fruit notes of cherry and raspberry. Subtle layers of black tea, anise, and nutmeg provide a warm, spicy complexity, while hints of cedar, tobacco, and dried herbs add depth and sophistication.

Palate: On the palate, Cask 23 2003 is lush and full-bodied, with finely integrated oak and silky tannins. Flavors of dark berry fruit, cassis, and black cherry are complemented by nuances of mocha, licorice, and a touch of vanilla. The wine's structure is elegant yet powerful, with a balanced acidity that leads to a long, lingering finish marked by notes of espresso, spice, and minerality.
