Sunora Cream de Bacanora Pineapple Colada is a cream liqueur built around Sunora Bacanora and rum, blended with dairy cream and natural pineapple and coconut flavors. The recipe draws on the beach cocktail culture of Rocky Point (Puerto Peñasco), Sonora, translating that laid-back coastal style into a sippable cream liqueur, and the expression earned a bronze medal at the 2019 Bartender Spirits Awards.
The pour opens with fresh pineapple, toasted coconut, and vanilla cream on the nose, leading into a rich, dairy-forward palate where juicy pineapple and sweet tropical coconut come together like a piña colada in a glass. The finish stays creamy and tropical, with a light warmth from the underlying agave spirit carrying through to the end.
