Tequila Providencia Reposado
Tequila Providencia Reposado comes from a single-NOM small-batch distillery in Arandas, Los Altos, Jalisco, produced under NOM 1465 by a family-run operation. Founders Rodd Rafieha and Mookie Betts launched the brand in January 2026, working with master distiller Diego Ramirez L. to build a tequila from 100% Blue Weber highland agave, slow-roasted in traditional ovens and fermented naturally in open-air stainless tanks before two distillations in stainless steel pot stills. The spirit is additive-free, with no added sugars, flavorings, or glycerin.
Resting three months in oak gives this reposado a dry character with a light touch of cinnamon and oak, joined by peach and light honey on the palate. The nose carries peachy, fruity notes alongside a subtle hint of oak, while cloves and pepper add a spiced edge that reflects the highland agave's natural sweetness balanced against the barrel influence.
The tequila arrives in a ceramic agave-piña decanter finished in a sage-green glaze with a gold cap, making it a standout addition to any home bar or agave collection.
