Tasting Notes

Color: From the pale amber of Special Reserve through the deep copper of Antique 107 and Full Proof to the dark mahogany of the 12 Year, Single Barrel and C.Y.P.B.

Nose: Special Reserve: caramel, honey and soft vanilla. Antique 107: cherry, cinnamon and brown sugar. 12 Year: dried fruit, leather and deep oak. Full Proof: butterscotch, baked apple and toasted wood. Single Barrel: honey, toffee and floral notes. C.Y.P.B.: vanilla, orange peel and light spice.

Palate: All six share the soft, wheated Buffalo Trace mash bill — no rye bite. Special Reserve is gentle and sweet; Antique 107 adds heat and spice; the 12 Year is the most oak-driven and polished; Full Proof is dense with caramel; Single Barrel is creamy and honeyed; C.Y.P.B. sits between them with orange, vanilla and a touch of tannin.

Finish: Short and sweet on Special Reserve, long and spicy on Antique 107 and Full Proof, and slow and oaky on the 12 Year, Single Barrel and C.Y.P.B.
