Wild Clay Collective Pelican Edition Japanese Whisky 700mL

The Pelican Edition is one of three hand-crafted ceramic animal decanters launched by Aiko Brands under the Wild Clay Collective name in late 2025, alongside a Flamingo (Japanese whisky) and a Rainbow Trout (bourbon). Each figure-shaped decanter houses a Japanese whisky and arrives in a gold window display box, built as much for the shelf as for the pour.

Inside the pelican-shaped vessel is a blend of Japanese whiskies distilled from cracked Japanese barley and rested in Mizunara oak for a minimum of six months, bottled at 40% ABV. The nose leans savory, with smoked bacon, charred oak, a whisper of gunpowder, and dried sage and rosemary, while the palate turns sweeter, moving through orgeat, lemon and lime, a sesame-cookie midpalate, and toasted coconut from the Mizunara wood, finishing toasty and bready with a fairly short close.
