Zumbador Tequila Reposado
Zumbador Tequila Reposado is distilled at Destilería El Sabino (NOM 1643) in the Altos de Jalisco highlands by the López family, using the same Blue Weber agave base as the Zumbador Blanco. After distillation, the spirit rests approximately 12 weeks in American oak barrels previously used for Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey — a deliberate choice that imparts a restrained oak influence while keeping agave at the center of the profile. Zumbador is marketed as additive-free.
The nose opens with dusty highland agave and a subtle floral lift, underscored by delicate vanilla and light caramel drawn from the used oak. On the palate, cooked agave sweetness carries through alongside vanilla bean, gentle cinnamon spice, and a soft oak undercurrent. The finish is clean and moderately short, with lingering agave and a quiet warmth.
