Amor Mío Extra Añejo arrives in a hand-painted Talavera ceramic bottle, its multicolour pattern turning the decanter into a display piece as much as a pour. The liquid inside is produced at NOM 1466, Tequila Tres Mujeres in Los Valles, and rested a minimum of three years in oak, placing it in tequila's oldest and most limited aging category.
Extended oak time shows in a dark amber tequila with rich dried fruit, toasted vanilla, warm baking spice, aged oak, chocolate, and nuts on the nose. The palate is velvety, built on caramel, dark chocolate, and roasted agave sweetness with a thread of cinnamon, and it closes long, carrying butterscotch and caramel-apple notes through a smooth finish.
