Blue Run Straight Bourbon Flight Series II 'Miami Sunset' is an elegant expression that combines creamy sweetness with delicate spices, capturing the essence of a serene sunset. This meticulously crafted bourbon unveils layers of rich, nutty flavors with a smooth, comforting finish. As the first sip welcomes you with the warmth of oatmeal, almonds, and a hint of cinnamon, the flavors evolve to reveal the indulgence of white chocolate and nougat, followed by a whisper of cracked black pepper. The finish lingers with subtle notes of vanilla and oak, reminiscent of a candy bar with caramel and toasted almonds. Miami Sunset is perfect for sipping on a warm evening or pairing with decadent desserts.

Tasting Notes

Nose: The nose is welcoming and creamy, with aromas of oatmeal, almond, and French vanilla, all lightly dusted with cinnamon. These comforting scents are complemented by a subtle richness, evoking the warmth of a cozy morning.

Palate: On the palate, the bourbon reveals smooth flavors of white chocolate, toasted almonds, and nougat, harmonizing with a delicate touch of fresh cracked black pepper. The spice is present but dissipates quickly, allowing the rich, nutty flavors to shine.

Finish: The finish is long and satisfying, with lightly weathered oak and concentrated vanilla. The rich brown notes—reminiscent of caramel, peanuts, and almond nougat—linger softly, making for a smooth and indulgent conclusion to the tasting experience.
