Cardrona Just Hatched is the first whisky to emerge from Cardrona Distillery, a small alpine distillery set high in New Zealand's Cardrona Valley between Wanaka and Queenstown. Released at three years old — the youngest age at which the spirit could legally be called whisky — Just Hatched announced the arrival of one of the Southern Hemisphere's most closely watched new single malt makers, bottled in a 375 ml format befitting its limited run.

Bottled at full cask strength, the liquid leads with fresh orchard fruit and honeyed malt, building through ripe stone fruit, toffee, and vanilla before a peppery flick of baking spice.
