Carreta de Oro Blanco Tequila is produced at Destiladora Juanacatlán (NOM 1551), a collective established in 2004 by forty agave farmers in Juanacatlán, central Jalisco. The estate cultivates 100% Blue Weber agave on limestone-rich soil fed by a deep underground well, farmed without herbicides or pesticides. Double-distilled and released under the Carreta de Oro label since 2023, this blanco reflects the collective's commitment to transparent, single-origin agave production.
The nose opens with fresh cooked agave alongside bright citrus and a clean mineral thread drawn from the limestone terroir. On the palate, sweet agave leads with lively citrus and a peppery spice that reflects the estate's deep-well water source. The finish is crisp and peppery with lingering agave sweetness and mineral persistence.
