Tasting Notes

Appearance: The wine presents a deep garnet-purple hue, indicative of its concentration and ageworthiness.

Nose: The bouquet is intensely aromatic and youthful, with vibrant scents of red currants, black cherries, and wild blueberries. Floral notes of violets are intertwined with spicy nuances of star anise and cinnamon stick. Additional layers include hints of rose hip tea, cigar box, and wood smoke, with a subtle touch of beef drippings adding depth and complexity.

Palate: Medium to full-bodied, the palate exhibits extraordinary elegance and depth. It reveals layers of fragrant red and black fruits, complemented by a remarkable array of mineral nuances. The texture is rock-solid with a grainy, yet refined, quality. The wine’s structure is supported by a balanced acidity and well-integrated tannins, leading to a long, persistent finish marked by an edifying perfume and a complex interplay of flavors.

Finish: The finish is epic in its persistence, showcasing a harmonious blend of fruit, spice, and mineral elements. The wine’s exceptional balance and depth make it both intellectually stimulating and sensually rewarding.
