A 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley's Rutherford bench, in Duckhorn's 50th Anniversary label. The 2023 layers dark chocolate, fig and blackberry with graphite and fine, dusty tannins.
Rutherford is known for its structured Cabernets and the dusty texture locals call "Rutherford dust." Duckhorn's 2023 is all Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 16 months in French oak (50% new). Dark chocolate, fig, blackberry, blueberry and crushed violets build with finesse, while graphite and fine tannins add texture and drive into a long, composed and quietly powerful finish.
