The debut expression of Heaven’s Door Exploration Series showcases the innovative spirit of whiskey craftsmanship. This 5-year-old Tennessee Straight Bourbon is finished in freshly dumped Calvados brandy casks from Normandy, France, and further enhanced with medium-heavy toasted French oak staves. The interplay between the bourbon’s rich foundation and the influence of apple brandy and French oak creates a layered and sophisticated whiskey that harmonizes traditional techniques with modern creativity.
