Irlandes Tequila Blanco

Irlandés Tequila Blanco takes its name from the San Patricios, the battalion of Irish soldiers who fought alongside Mexico in 1847, and the bottle carries that dual heritage into the liquid itself. Produced under NOM 1588 at Tequila El Mexicano in Arandas, Jalisco, in the heart of Los Altos, the tequila starts with Blue Weber agave hand-sourced directly from local farmers. The agave is cooked in a traditional autoclave, fermented slowly with a natural French yeast, and double distilled before the spirit is cut with water drawn from a deep Arandas well and blended with water sourced from St. Patrick's Well in Ireland.

The result is a crystal clear blanco that opens with sun-warmed almonds, a touch of earthiness, and fresh agave on the nose. On the palate it builds in layers, with slow-cooked agave giving way to a burst of citrus freshness through the mid-palate, and the finish settles into a succulent, lingering sweetness that stays true to the agave throughout.
