Tasting Notes

Nose:
Delicate layers of vanilla, honey, and maple syrup mingle with the hallmark Laphroaig peat. Subtle aromas of seawater, charcoal ash, and lemon candy are uplifted by hints of lychee, peaches, and menthol. Whispers of polished wood, leather, and floral honey complete the bouquet.

Palate:
A graceful introduction of barbecued honey-glazed ham evolves into a vibrant display of mango, pineapple, and creamy papaya. The sweetness is balanced by oak-driven spice, with notes of white pepper, ginger, and a touch of iodine. The peat is present yet restrained, complemented by a waxy, coastal character.

Finish:
Long and contemplative, with lingering cold ashes, mint, and hints of white pepper. The drying effect is offset by delicate notes of tobacco leaves and subtle floral nuances, leaving an elegant impression of wood smoke.
