León y Sol Blanco Tequila is the debut expression from a brand founded by the Marhamat family, whose Persian heritage inspired the lion-and-sun iconography at the heart of the label. Production is anchored at NOM 1499 in Los Altos de Jalisco, where third-generation Maestro Tequilero Jose Aceves oversees each step using 100% Blue Weber agave. Launched in 2024 after a sold-out pre-order phase, León y Sol is certified non-GMO, Kosher, and gluten-free.
The nose opens with ripe agave and fresh pear, brightened by grapefruit zest. A distinctive herbal dimension — rosemary, bay leaf, and a trace of menthol — gives the palate layered, cool complexity before a clean finish with a subtle floral lift that lingers gracefully.
