Les Chalumeaux lies in the upper part of Puligny-Montrachet next to Meursault, and Louis Latour's 2023 shows the generous, rounded side of the village. Rich and creamy, it brings peach, apple tart, vanilla and butterscotch, with a lemon note building to a long finish, balanced and consistent from start to end. Wine Spectator (92 points) rates it drink now through 2032; just 40 cases were imported to the US. 13.5% ABV, 750ml.
