True to the Octomore project, it pairs an audaciously high peating level with a short five-year maturation, capturing the spirit at its most vivid and expressive.
The liquid leads with dense, earthy peat smoke and coastal salinity, then opens into barley sugar, citrus, and vanilla as it sits in the glass. The smoke never fully lets go, but it frames rather than buries the malt — a layered, slow-unfolding dram that rewards patient sipping.
