Tasting Notes

Upon opening the bottle, Pelican Harbor Black Rum releases an enticing aroma of dark molasses, charred oak, and a hint of smokiness. Upon tasting, a complex and intense flavor profile unfolds. The initial notes of rich caramel and espresso are complemented by hints of dark chocolate, spices, and a touch of dried fruits, creating a dynamic and robust palate. As the rum warms on the tongue, whispers of tobacco, vanilla, and a hint of black pepper emerge, adding depth and complexity. The texture is full-bodied and velvety, allowing the flavors to linger and develop with each sip. The finish is long and luxurious, leaving traces of oak and a lasting warmth.
