The 21st vintage of Pol Roger's Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill, the prestige Champagne named for the house's most famous admirer.
Mid yellow-gold with a fine stream of bubbles, it opens on spice and pepper, then black fruit with real concentration and density. A bouquet of dried fruit and hazelnut follows, with notes of exotic fruit. On the palate, candied fruit, pastry, brioche and cocoa build a broad, generous mouthfeel. 12.5% ABV, 750ml.
