R6 Distillery Malt Whiskey Eagle Rock Brewery 86 is a one-of-a-kind collaboration that brings together the expertise of R6 Distillery and the creative brewing spirit of Eagle Rock Brewery in Los Angeles. This distinctive American whiskey is the result of a unique process that starts with R6 Distillery's Single Malt Whiskey and a special pale ale brewed by Eagle Rock Brewery. The brew is then distilled to 160 proof, blended, and aged for two years in a fusion of barrels, including Blue Corn Bourbon, Single Malt Whisky, and Peanut Butter Porter. This collaboration is a celebration of craftsmanship, creativity, and the intersection of the worlds of whiskey and craft beer.

Tasting Notes

The whiskey offers an intriguing blend of flavors derived from the collaboration of the Single Malt Whiskey and Eagle Rock Brewery's pale ale. On the nose, you'll encounter notes that reflect the brewing heritage, with hints of malt sweetness, the richness of the porter, and the subtle nuttiness of peanut butter. The palate unfolds with a complex medley of flavors. The Blue Corn Bourbon barrel contributes a mellow sweetness, the Single Malt Whisky barrel adds depth and character, and the Peanut Butter Porter barrel imparts a unique and indulgent richness. The result is a well-rounded and geeky American whiskey that showcases the best of both worlds.
