Sheep Dip Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is a unique and masterfully crafted spirit that dispels the myths surrounding Scotch whisky. The term "Sheep Dip" harks back to an old English farming practice involving an insecticide, but in this context, it symbolizes the coming together of 16 diverse single malt whiskies from the Highland, Island, and Speyside regions. This blending process, led by Richard Paterson, Scotland's esteemed and third-generation master blender, showcases that a remarkable whisky can emerge from a variety of sources and ages.

Tasting Notes

Sheep Dip Blended Malt Scotch Whisky offers an enticing array of flavors and aromas that highlight the complexity and depth achievable through skillful blending:

Nose: The nose is an inviting prelude to the whisky's rich character. It presents a bouquet of scents, where fruitiness intertwines with floral notes. Hints of malt and barley are also present, evoking a sense of the Scottish landscapes.
Taste: The taste profile is a harmonious blend of flavors contributed by the various single malts. It captures a fruity sweetness, often reminiscent of orchard fruits. Additionally, you'll encounter subtle hints of honey, malt, and a gentle influence of oak.
Finish: In the finish, Sheep Dip Scotch Whisky reveals a satisfying and lingering warmth. The combination of flavors gradually subsides, leaving a memory of orchard fruits, malt, and a delicate spiciness.
