Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey Single Cask Px Sherry Cask 15 Year is a single cask release from Teeling, the Dublin-based Irish whiskey house. Each bottling comes from an individual cask rather than a blend of barrels, here a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask, and the whiskey carries a 15-year age statement. Because every cask is its own expression, character varies from release to release.
Pedro Ximénez sherry casks are known for contributing dark, sweet fruit and rich spice to the spirit. Expect raisin, fig, and dark chocolate over toasted oak, with a layer of honeyed malt and baking spice beneath. The palate is full and layered, with dried fruit and cocoa carrying into a long, warming finish with lingering spice and gentle oak.
