The Dalmore Port Wood Scotch Whiskey is a captivating creation born from the distillery's exploration of cask maturation from various corners of the globe. This special reserve artfully combines the robust character of Dalmore's whisky with the rich and flavorful influence of port casks. The journey of this whisky begins with maturation in American white oak bourbon casks, where it absorbs the essence of these barrels. It then embarks on a transformative finishing period in port pipes sourced from the renowned W&J Graham, ultimately reaching a bold 46.5% ABV. The result is a creamy, fruity whisky characterized by a well-balanced sweetness that delights the senses.
