Fully traceable from farm to glass, this expression reflects Bruichladdich’s deep commitment to provenance, sustainability, and community-driven whisky making.

Distilled from unpeated grain and matured for seven years in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels and first-fill Virgin American Oak casks (including toasted American oak and Crianza oak), this whisky bridges the maritime elegance of Islay with the warmth and spice influence of American oak. Toasted rather than heavily charred, the Virgin Oak casks impart sweet caramel, coconut, and vanilla without overpowering the spirit’s vibrant rye character.

Beyond flavor, the use of rye as a rotation crop supports regenerative agriculture, improving soil health and reducing artificial inputs—making this whisky as thoughtful as it is distinctive.
