Drawn from a single distillation date of 4th October 1976, this 44-year-old single malt represents the oldest and most limited release ever to bear the Littlemill name, preserving the character of a distillery that closed its doors forever in 1994.
Under the careful stewardship of Master Blender Michael Henry, the spirit was re-casked in 1996 into American oak hogsheads, before a meticulous finishing period in first-fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads. This final maturation brought additional depth and elegance to an already extraordinary whisky, culminating in a liquid that is vibrant, refined, and astonishingly alive for its age.
