Loch Lomond The Open Distiller’s Cut is a limited-edition Highland single malt created to mark the partnership between Loch Lomond Whiskies and The Open Championship. Developed by Master Blender Michael Henry, this expression highlights the distillery’s versatile stills, combining fruity, floral, and lightly smoky elements. Matured in American oak casks and bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, it delivers a balanced and approachable dram with a signature Campbeltown-meets-Highland character.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of ripe pear, baked apple, and toasted cereal lead into a palate of honeyed orchard fruits, creamy vanilla, and gentle wood spice. Hints of citrus zest and soft peat smoke appear in the finish, adding complexity without overwhelming the fruit character.
