A Premier Cru white Burgundy from one of Puligny-Montrachet's highest vineyards: rich, buttery and spiced, with a crisp line of acidity. 93 points, Wine Spectator.
La Garenne sits high on the Puligny slope, and Maison Louis Latour, family-owned since 1797, draws from it a Chardonnay that is rich and opulent yet tightly focused on its terroir. Expect a buttery texture, spicy exotic fruit and apple, lemon and stone notes balanced by crisp acidity and a long, chalky finish. Wine Spectator (93 points) called it sleek and tense, best from 2027 through 2035; only 40 cases were imported to the US. 13.5% ABV, 750ml.
