The Dunbrody Irish Whiskey Bourbon Cask is an Irish whiskey finished in bourbon casks, distilled and bottled in Ireland. The bourbon cask finish adds a distinct layer to the whiskey's character, rounding out the profile with the influence of American oak.
On the nose, expect soft vanilla and honeyed sweetness layered over classic Irish whiskey grain notes, with a touch of orchard fruit. The palate carries that vanilla-oak sweetness through to a smooth body, with a gentle spice building alongside baked apple and caramel, easing into a warm, lingering finish with a light oak dryness.
