Crafted on the Isle of Mull, this 17-year-old single malt showcases the artistry of Tobermory Distillery. Distilled in 2004 and fully matured in Oloroso sherry casks, this expression harmonizes the rich, fruity depth of sherry influence with the maritime character of an island malt. Bottled at cask strength, it delivers an intricate interplay of caramel sweetness, dry oak, and nutty sophistication.

Tasting Notes

Nose:
Opens with a rich bouquet of caramel and toffee, intertwined with aromas of blackcurrants, cherries, and fresh pastries. Hints of almonds and a gentle spice lend complexity.

Palate:
A luxurious mix of rose petals and tropical fruits leads to creamy toffee, walnuts, and ripe cherries. Balanced by the dry tannins of oak and subtle leather undertones, the flavor evolves beautifully on the palate.

Finish:
Long and drying, marked by the distinctive tannic grip of grape skins and a nutty profile. A touch of ginger spice lingers, adding warmth and character.
