World Whiskey Society Aultmore 32 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The World Whiskey Society Aultmore 32 Year is a single-cask Speyside single malt drawn from a hogshead filled in 1990 at the Aultmore Distillery. Part of World Whiskey Society's 2024 Reserve Collection, the release is bottled non-chill-filtered with no added color at cask-strength-adjacent proof, and presented in a Baccarat crystal decanter finished with a laser-engraved metallic medallion and zamak crown closure. Only a small run of bottles was drawn from this single cask, making it one of the more limited independent Aultmore expressions to reach the US market.

Thirty-two years in wood have left this whisky a deep gold, with a nose of creamy vanilla and lemon that gives way to layers of toffee and caramel-like roundness without masking the underlying malt. On the palate, honey and barley sugar meet vanilla essence, dried fig, pears, green apples, and butterscotch, all building through the sip. The finish is warming with a subtle, grassy close that lingers well after the last drop.

Housed in a bespoke display box with a signed certificate of authenticity, this decanter is built for the shelf as much as the pour, and pairs naturally with other single-cask and independent-bottler releases in the Liquor Geeks rare whisky selection.
